“…whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Joel 2:32
If you want your sins to be forgiven God will hear your prayer of repentance, however you say it, in the name of His Son Jesus.
You can pray a prayer like this:
“Lord Jesus, have mercy on me, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose from again from the dead on the third day. Come into my heart and forgive me for all of my sins. I receive you as my Lord and my Savior. For I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.”
If you have prayed that prayer or a prayer like it you are saved by God’s grace through Jesus Christ.
It is important for you to now follow through on your decision to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. These three things will help you:
- Read the Bible. It alone has what you need to know about the new life that you have begun. Start with the New Testament because it tells us what Jesus did and said.
- Come to church. Be with other born-again believers who are living their lives for God. You are always welcome at the Las Vegas Christian Center.
- Pray. Real prayer is just talking to God in your own words from your heart.
